I will start by telling you a little about my self and why im doing this and where the money you donate will go. my name is jennifer edwards i have made a commitment to walk 13.1 miles in the kentucky derby marthon on april 26,2003.WHY YOU ASK ?? to help with the fight of breast cancer, the money i raise will be given to the susan komen Foundation. for those of you who dont know about susan komen you can go to my links page and read her story , and read about the foundation. so im asking you to help me with the fight.




Today, there are two million breast cancer survivors in the Us.

The bad news: There are over 1,000,000 women in the United States with undetected breast cancer, many of which can’t afford to go to a doctor to be checked- they probably won't know for another five to eight years.

70% of these women have no risk factors for breast cancer. Many don’t even know they should be checked.

A woman's chance of having breast cancer during her lifetime is one
in eight. Your chance of knowing this woman is almost 100%.
